Rush Week
Every term, we find new women interested in joining our sisterhood. We hold several events over Rush Week in order to get to know them better.

House Arrest
At the end of the Pledge period, all pledges will attend House Arrest to complete their journey in joining Sigma Lambda Gamma.

Pledge Event
To join Sigma Lambda Gamma, our pledges must complete a pledge event for our currently active sisters. It is up to each pledge class to come up with a creative and fun event.

International Dinner & Silent Auction
An annual event, we as a diverse group of young women come together and create delish cuisine from our respective cultures and host an International Dinner for a charity of our choice. The dinner also includes a silent auction portion.

Founder's Ball
Every year, in late March, the sisters of Sigma Lambda Gamma hold an annual Founder's Ball for the opportunity to see our inactive and alumni sisters, and of course, our eight fabulous founders. Awards are handed out to recognize sisters who have achieved excellence in different fields within the sorority, and a delicious dinner is served. Winter 2006

A recent tradition, every term, active sisters make time for a weekend away together at a fun new location.

Date Auction
A night of fun where the sisters are "auctioned" off to raise money for a charity of their choice

CIBC Run For The Cure
Frequently, we dedicate our attention to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation and volunteer for CIBC Run For The Cure.

Trick-or-Eat
The sisters gathered on Halloween and helped collect canned goods and non-perishable food items for the local food bank. Costume theme: the 80's!

Relay For Life
Each active spring term, the sisters sign up to raise money and volunteer to support Relay For Life and cancer research.

Sisters, roller coasters, funnel cakes, and water parks!

Secret Santa/End Of Term Potluck
To celebrate the end of a good term, at our last meeting, we each bring a dish for a potluck party and exchange Secret Santa gifts.

Purse Party
An annual tradition, begun by our sister Felicia, we gather and spend the afternoon perusing through gorgeous purses, scarves, belts, and jewelry.
